Feature Wall Design

A feature wall works when it fits the room. We look at where the light comes from, what furniture sits in front of the wall and how the room is used. Then we suggest a finish, a colour and a sheen.

• Behind a bed: soft Limewash Paint or matte Marmorino.

• Around a fireplace: Venetian Plaster, polished or matte.

• In a bathroom or kitchen: Microcement.

• In an older home with brick: limewash on the brick itself.

Finish & Colour Consultation

Every project starts with a free on-site consultation in Toronto and the GTA. We bring physical samples and test colours on your wall. This matters because a north-facing room makes warm colours look cooler, and evening lamps make plaster look richer than daylight does. You approve the sample before we start.

Finish Specification for Designers & Builders

Interior designers, architects and builders use us to specify and apply mineral finishes. We provide sample boards, the finish system for each surface, schedules and site support, for both homes and commercial projects.

How to choose between the finishes

• Limewash Paint: soft, cloudy matte for whole rooms. The lowest cost of the three.

• Venetian Plaster and Marmorino: depth and stone-like texture for feature walls and fireplaces.

• Microcement: no grout lines, for floors, showers, kitchens and stairs.
